On this day in 1970 a monumental quartet released a film entitled "Let It Be." This film was also a sort of documentary, showcasing their rehearsals & live performences. "Let It Be" marked "The Beatles" last album as a group, the film was released 12 days following that!

New Music

The new music today comes from Christian Rich a duo of Nigerian born, Chicago bred twins! The two started off producing for the likes of The Clipse & Lil Kim, but soon segued into makin their own music. They just came out with a mixtape entitled "The Decay" which I'm really diggin right now!!!!
But this is the real reason i even brought "Christian Rich" up, I wanted 2 get everybody hip 2 their hot a*$ single called "Famous Girl".....this video is really deep, I already have my own opinions about the symbolism the video carries but just let me know what you all think!!!!

So there's seems 2 be a lot of buzz circulating because this was officially Ri Ri's first event since her incident with the homie Chris Breezy! She looks better than ever & ready for the world dammit! It was only right she stepped out in style to The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

By the way, since your already checkin it out....Yeezy & his lady Amber also made an appearence to the Gala!!!

By now I'm quit sure you all know who Asher Roth is, yea the same guy who dropped that "I love college" single. I'm truly a fan, & Asher seems 2 be a creative soul I can vibe with.....thus far. I heard "I love college" long before it was getting any air play, & I put some word of mouth out about him until I got my hands on his most recent mixtape. DJ Drama & DJ Don Cannon both gave a big hand in this project titled "The Green house Effect"


After the mixtape, Ipod junkies across the globe were probably just as thirsty for a little more Asher just as much as I was! He took his momentum & ran with it, releasing his debut album "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" which dropped on 4/20 by the way (go cop that, I did)!!!! The CD is simply put, a masterpiece! Well in my opinion at least, there are probably 4 more possible singles that could be marketed...if the public receives Asher just as I have.



This is the 2nd single off of the album, the song is titled "Be By Myself" Feat. Cee-Lo......Check it out!!!!

4 Reel

Transformers 2 (Revenge of the Fallen) is set to release nation-wide June 24, 2009.
So far I've been hearin a lot of people tryin to down play the movie before it's release is even within a month's reach. The plot thickens when the Decepticons return to earth to retrieve the remains of their fallen leader Megatron, they also search for Sam & remains of the Allspark Cube. Sam not knowin that he still had a remnant (Splinter) of the cube from shoving the cube into Megatron's chest (Transformers 1), starts to go a bit postal. Megatron is revived & Optimus returns, both sides with reinforcements of the own for an all out battle of survival of the fittest. But the twist is.....that eventually the two sides will have to join forces momentarily to survive the wrath of an even greater enemy of both the Decepticons & the Autobots. Thus "The Revenge of the Fallen!"

Personally I can't wait for the movie to come out, the first one was very excellent in my opinion...it broadly opened up the world...no the universe of Transformers alogether. From my point of view I see this being only the beginning for this series...Well enuff of what I think about it, check it out ya damn self & let me know what you think. Will this block-buster sequel weigh-in as expected????
